Nolan North's Deadpool

Is it just me or does Nolan North's Deadpool voice sound different after Hulk Vs Wolverine?

I feel he's more calm and laid back in Hulk Vs as well as being sadistic yet still having a sense of humour, but during Marvel vs Capcom 3 he sounds like he's done something different with it (like he got rid of the laid back tone so he can let loose and be wacky) and finally the Deadpool game (minus the boxes because they're redundant and don't count...) his voice sounds like it's strained and he's not interested in the script and would rather improvise than read the scripted lines and trying too hard to please the people behind the game.  (I don't want to go on a rant about how I feel about the writing in the Deadpool game because my opinions on why I don't like it would only cause problems...)
