Deadpool movie is a few days away...

It's almost surreal in a way... about 4 years ago this movie was never going to happen, it was a dark time when Michael Bay announced that the Ninja Turtles were going to be "aliens" Daniel Way was announced to write the Deadpool game and Obama got re-elected.  The Deadpool test footage was only a myth... long thought to be a hoax, I had my eyes peeled on the web for years searching for this holy grail, eventually I said "fuck it" and read the leaked 2010 draft and was in awe and amazement of why a studio would refuse to make a movie on one of the most highly popular characters at Marvel, yet Ryan Reynolds still had hope, even though it seemed that all hope was lost, until sometime in June of 2014 I had bad strep, Batman V Superman was announced, X-Men Apocalypse was announced and Suicide Squad as well, no Deadpool... but then I was on my Tumblr and I saw the Deadpool Bugle posted a still from what appeared to be a blurry image of a CG Deadpool on a bridge, I found a link and screamed like Fred Randal from Rocket Man when he found out he was going to Mars, soon people went to 20th Century Fox's social media pages and Youtube trailers and began to demand for Deadpool, until the studio caved in and we waited through 2015 to see shooting on set, still images and the epic Mario Lopez April Fools prank that solidified the R-rating, and finally the trailers and promos and an whiny (and kinda hot) Social Justice Warrior tried to delay the film to force the studio to release a watered down cut with the claim for being the children but later bitched that it offended her because of the sexual content at a early screening for critics)... it was a long journey, but it was worth the wait.

In all honesty I was going to adapt the entire 2010 draft as an animated project like my short Deadpool Kills Christmas (with a big ass bottle of Jagermeister and mint tea) had Fox cancelled the movie indefinitely but re-considered since Fox threw that one guy in jail who leaked the original rough cut of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, that and I still kept my hopes up 'til the end.
