Here's what the nav bar should look like

I made this mock up of what the updated nav bar "should have" looked like... I seriously doubt the people in charge of DA will see this... they'll probably laugh at me and call me stupid for not liking their layout because it's "different"

I feel the update was unnecessary... I kept the general look while making the submit button darker and bringing back the original layout the best I could (from memory)
